The Body as the Ground of Tantra
This lecture explores the body as a primary gateway to awakening in the tantric tradition, inviting a shift from seeing the body as merely physical to recognizing it as a living expression of consciousness. Through the lens of non-dual Tantra, it presents the body as both a microcosm of the universe and a sacred vessel through which awareness experiences itself. The session introduces key teachings such as the five tantric bodies and anava upaya, demonstrating how the body, breath, senses, and nervous system become powerful tools for self-inquiry and recognition.
The lecture also examines how conditioning, contraction, and unresolved emotional patterns influence perception, while revealing these experiences as opportunities for deeper awareness rather than obstacles to overcome. Through somatic awareness and direct engagement with sensation, participants are invited to cultivate greater presence, integrate awareness into daily life, and discover that spiritual realization is not separate from ordinary experience but is embodied through it.
